GUEST POLICIES

~TO INSURE EVERYONE AN ENJOYABLE VISIT~

 

Hanover Hideaway is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. To ensure you have a pleasant stay, we have established the following policies. Please take a moment to review our policies and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Reservations

Room Rates accommodate two people and include a full breakfast. Rates are quoted per night excluding tax (13%).

  • For the Lake room only, there is an additional $15 charge/night per person over 2 people.

Reservations require a $65 deposit if 7 nights or fewer. Over 7 nights, a 50% deposit of the total bill is required.

We accept MC, Visa, Discover and Amex. We do not accept personal checks.

Cancellation (**Please note that 1 Day = 24 hours)

If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 7 (seven) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation and receive a full refund. If cancellation notice is 4 (four) to 6 (six) days prior to your arrival, the $65 deposit will cover the processing fee for the room and will not be refunded.

In the unlikely event that you must cancel with three (3) days or less notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for 80% of your entire reservation plus taxes less the $65 deposit. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund will be made. The Cancellation fees will be charged to the credit card on file.

No Shows: If you do not arrive on the confirmed reservation date and have not given at least 24 hours notice, we will deem your reservation as a no-show. No-show fees will be 100% of the deposit plus 100% of the entire reservation balance plus taxes. The No-show fees will be charged to the credit card on file.

Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests. A 30-day cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings and for some holidays and special events. Whole house rentals must be paid in full 30 days in advance.

Check In/Out Times

Check-in: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM. If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements.

Check-out: 11:00 AM.

Housekeeping

For your privacy, turndown service is offered at your request. In respect to our environment, linens and towels are changed after each guest checkout. Please advise the innkeepers if you require fresh linens or towels outside of this policy.

Non-Smoking Facility

Absolutely no smoking inside. There is a designated outdoor smoking area available. A $200 fee will be charged for smoke room cleaning. The B&B and its owners reserve the right to ask any guest to forfeit the remainder of their stay without reimbursement if this policy is not respected as it may  become unsafe and/or disruptive to you and any of the guests staying at Hanover Hideaway.

Alcohol

We do not hold a license to sell or serve alcoholic beverages. Guests age 21 or older may bring their own, but for the safety and comfort of all of our guests, please drink responsibly. Hanover Hideaway and/or the owners will not be held responsible for any incidents involving alcohol. The B&B and its owners reserve the right to ask any guest to forfeit the remainder of their stay without reimbursement if conditions become unsafe or disruptive to any of the guests staying at Hanover Hideaway.

Pets

We know that your pet is a vital part of your family. Unfortunately we do not have accommodations for pets at this time. Please call for help in making arrangements to board your pet.

Guests under the age of 16

Special situations allow for children, please call to determine if arrangements can be made.

Property/Room Damage

Any damages, stolen B&B items, or broken objects during the stay will be the full financial responsibility of the guest, including anyone traveling or visiting with the guest. Any special clean-up needed that was caused by the guest will be charged to the credit card. Charges may need to be applied after guest departure as deemed necessary by the owner. Please report all spills and/or damages to the owner promptly. Towel replacement cost is $25/per towel.

General

Hanover Hideaway is privately owned and operated. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
